# What is markdown?
 > Markdown is a plain text formatting syntax aimed at making writing for the internet 
    easier. It is written entirely only using punctuation characters that are chosen carefully.
    we can add links, images, headings, Blockquote, code, horizontal line, make text 
    bold, italic, strikethrough, and make ordered lists, unordered lists, etc.

    - Headings are from 1 to 6 & we can use as per our requirement.
